Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip


Need a quick NYE appetizer? We have a quick dip recipe that is and delicious and easy!  We served this dip on our appetizer tray which also included dill and chive cheddar cheese curds, jalapeño summer sausage, garlic stuffed olives, jalapeño stuff olives, hickory smoked spreadable cheese and ritz crackers!  Can you see we have a theme here with the jalapeños? We love heat! It is so easy to throw this appetizer tray together and it is a perfect pair with your favorite beer! We paired with a Backpocket Jackknife, an American Pale Ale that has a beautiful amber color to it and a very light and smooth finish!  Okay now the dip recipe!


Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip
2 blocks softened cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped jalapeños (We used Mezzetta hot from a jar)
4.25 ounces chopped black olives
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon white pepper

Directions: Place all ingredients in a bowl and mixed with a hand held mixer until mixed thoroughly. Place in a serving bowl and garnish with jalapeños, shredded sharp cheddar cheese and smoked paprika! Serve with crackers!
