Whipped Maple Butter

Whipped maple butter?  Whipped maple butter beats any cinnamon/honey butter we have tried, hands down! We came across this type of butter at Seven Sushi and Steak Ultralounge over the weekend and needed to attempt to recreate as soon as possible! This would be delicious on any type of bread, rolls, or breakfast item that needs butter! The butter only has three ingredients and is extremely easy to make!  We decided beer bread would be a good fit.  We paired our beer bread/whipped maple butter with a Peace Tree Rye Porter, drink local my friends! The roasty chocolate flavor of the beer and the sweetness of the butter and bread was down right delicious!

Whipped Maple Butter:
1/2 pound softened sweet cream salted butter (2 sticks)
1/4 cup of whole milk
4 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Directions:
Place butter and milk in a bowl and mix with hand held mixer until light and fluffy. Mix in the maple syrup. If not using the butter right away place in refrigerator. Let butter sit out at room temperature until soft before serving.

Now go spruce up some butter and plan a day trip to a local brewery!
